Sono due i rapporti pubblicati che sostengono e dimostrano la crescita del mercato di riciclaggio delle bottiglie di plastica.

Il primo rapporto a cui si fa riferimento è il rapporto sul mercato globale del riciclaggio delle bottiglie di plastica pubblicato dalla società indiana Market Research Future.

Stando al rapporto, il mercato globale sta crescendo rapidamente a causa di diversi fattori, tra i quali le prospettive positive per i prodotti riciclati e le crescenti preoccupazioni per l’ambiente.

Il rapporto evidenza il ruolo dominante del Nord America nel mercato del riciclo delle bottiglie di plastica, le quali stanno guadagnando popolarità tra le industrie degli utenti finali. Inoltre, i governi stanno adottando nuove misure per il riciclaggio.

Il secondo rapporto è quello pubblicato dall’azienda statunitense Research Nester Pvt Ltd. in merito al mercato globale degli imballaggi in polietilene tereftalato (PET). Secondo questo rapporto, il mercato di PET nel 2015 è stato valutato a 50,5 miliardi di dollari USA, corrispondenti a 17,2 milioni di tonnellate. Per la fine del 2021, si prevede un valore di 63,4 miliardi di dollari, corrispondente a 21,2 milioni di tonnellate, ottenendo quindi un tasso di crescita annuale composto (CAGR) del 5,15% nel periodo di previsione, ovvero 2015-2021.

Secondo le informazioni riportate, il mercato globale degli imballaggi PET nel 2014 era così suddiviso: 31,3% in Asia-Pacifico, 23,1% in Nord America e 19,6% in Europa occidentale.

In seguito all’aumento della popolazione, l’aumento delle città urbane nei paesi asiatici e l’aumento del reddito personale disponibile, è previsto che il mercato degli imballaggi in PET dell’Asia-Pacifico continuerà a crescere a un ritmo sostenuto.
