Ozone seems to have become indispensable in the sanitization of environments and as never before its disinfectant properties have become the focus of great interest. Usually known for the layer that protects the Earth’s atmosphere from ultraviolet rays, ozone is an unstable natural gas, composed of trivalent oxygen (O3), which has an oxidizing property particularly effective in cleaning. Among the various initiatives, it is worth mentioning the case of Ecozono in Brantareno, Asolo, Veneto, which is a cabin capable of removing bad smells, mold, mites, bacteria and especially viruses, included Coronavirus.
It is an industrial machine, especially useful in spaces where the passage of many people every day is the basis of the activity itself: hotels, restaurants, resorts, laundries, gyms, but also hospitals and nursing homes. It is the reaction of oxidation that ozone sets in motion when it encounters anything organic matter the create the perfect environment to prevent any viral and bacterial proliferation. Everything that comes into contact with this mechanism is transformed and become harmless. Additional to this, the ozone has the ability to penetrate deep into the textile fibers and is therefore excellent for all those situations where it is necessary to disinfect sofas, armchairs, curtains, but also clothes (think of large companies of clothing).
Ecozono is therefore a very interesting proposal within the sanitization market, which is recording a boom for obvious reasons: there seems to be an increase of over 50% for 2020. The product, however, is also excellent for eliminating unpleasant smells, which ofter appear to be that soaked in fabrics that they are unusable and do not give the feeling of cleanliness despite continuous washings.
