The air we breathe is not as healthy as we think it is: viruses, mold, bacteria and VOCs are present in the air we breath at home, in the offices, in bars, hotels, schools, hospitals and even in transport.
Each person breathes about 23,000 times a day, causing the movement of over 12,000 litres of air. The topic of environmental pollution has become topical due to the onset of many health problems, such as: headaches, asthma, fatigue, skin irritation, redness, respiratory tract infections, just to name a few.
In order to improve air quality, the company I.S.P.A. has proposed on the market the patented PHI technology, produced by the US company RGF. The PHI technology is able to improve the air quality in closed environments without causing the side effects, thanks to a cell that releases 4 oxidizers that are able to eliminate the microorganisms in the air by transforming them into oxygen and hydrogen.
This technology is able to reproduce the same cleaning processes existing in nature: the particles moving in space independently manage to hook the polluting molecules and eliminate them. In fact, the PHI cell emits UV light at two different wavelengths (at 185 nm it produces ozone and at 254 nm it destroys it) which is aimed at a catalyst formed by 4 metals: titanium, silver, rhodium and copper. What determines the sanitization of the air is the formation of oxidants (i-eroxides, hydroxides, superoxide ions, ozone), instead, UVS light is used to destroy the ozone produced which cause very negative effects on the respiratory tract.
This technology is enjoying considerable success and is very useful to lower the level of harmful substances present in the places we live in every day.
