We unfortunately learnt that cleaning is very important to reduce the risk of contagion during these months of pandemic. In Spain, the contract cleaning association Aspel has notified that the disinfection protocol in public transport is poor and insufficient. Aspel’s President, Juan Dìez de los Rìos, has criticised this serious system failure, because, for example, it is not good to clean a train or an airplane only once a day: they must be cleaned every time passengers get off the vehicles.

Obviously, the public cleaning system must be guaranteed and enhanced not only for people who use public transport, but for workers, too. Spain cannot be unprepared to face any further uncontrolled spread of contagion in the country.
